And we have a date

Well, after a few weeks of life happening I have decided to delay my opening. Something that I have always kept in mind is that you have to give a lot of yourself to a business but have to remember not to lose yourself too. So, I am opening June 10th. My hours for the summer will be 11am- 6pm 7 days a week. Currently my work will be along side 10 other local craftspeople. I have hand selected all well made and unique work to compliment mine. I’m looking forward to seeing all your faces as this new journey unfolds! Opening Soon Image

11 days

It is only 11 days until I finish at the Quidi Vidi Plantation. Its hard to believe I started here 2 years ago. Time flies. I will miss my Plantation family but new adventures are too good to pass up.

Moving on…out?

Well, the cat is out of the bag! This June I will be opening my own studio and shop in Bonavista, Newfoundland. The new space will allow me to expand my product line and even sell the work other craftspeople. Im thrilled to have this new adventure on the horizon. I have great plans for Yellow Rose, including a stronger online store. Itll be great to see where it will go. 💛

New plans new products

Im going to try and post every few days with process shots. Things are happening in my studio that you wont want to miss! New plans and new products are under way! How about my new jewelry line? Naturally dyed and machine embroidered.

New Products!

The past few months have been a struggle between wanting to move in a new direction and trying to get there. After months of samples and design work I have finally found a groove. New products are coming just in time for an adventure to the Patridgeberry Festival on Fogo Island next weekend. Check these out! Natural dyes are such a passion of mine. I have really enjoyed working with them in new ways all summer and getting some excellent feedback from the public. Fresh ideas are always so exciting!

Also, my online shop is updated so be sure to check it out. 🙂
