Tis the season?

Hi!

It has been a few months since I started at the Quidi Vidi Village Plantation here in St. John’s. I’ve really been enjoying my time here and I’ve learned many things. I was so excited to meet all of the locals and travelers this summer. It is very rewarding to see people interested in your work.

As the summer cools down I begin my preparation for my first holiday season at The Plant. I will also be having my first booth at the Craft Council Christmas Craft Fair this November. It is amazing to be selling along side some of the best craftspeople in our province. This year the show is moving to the Jack Byrne Area in Torbay. I am thrilled with the new location- very accessible and great parking. I am currently working on Christmas inventory. It is almost hard to imagine but it is upon us!

I have been working a lot on new product development too. New pillows for Christmas and naturally dyed products for the spring. I hate to say it but it will be nice to try new things over the winter.

I leave for the NL Fibre Arts conference in only a few weeks. Ill make sure I take lots of pictures to share with you!

Until than, drop by my studio at the Quidi Vidi Village Plantation. 🙂
